This project took place between 2011-2014. The project was initially intended to last for 18 months however was implemented for a period of approximately 24 months.
The overall objective of the proposed project was to increase the socio economic conditions of the Akdeniz Village Community. The specific objective was to increase the income level of the Akdeniz Village community by targeting women in particular and providing vocational and self-development skills.
The project established the ‘Akdeniz Women’s Centre’ in the Akdeniz Village and the centre continues its activities today.
